มาแล้วกับภาค Yugioh 5D’s หรือ ภาคมังกร 5 ตัว โดยภาคนี้จะออกมาให้ปลดล็อคเมื่อเล่นถึง mission 10 ในโลก ดูเอลมอนเตอร์ (DM)
ภาคนี้การพัฒนาการอัญเชิญที่เพิ่มมาจะเป็นเรื่องของการอัญเชิญซิงโครว (Synchro Summon) การ์ดมอนเตอร์จะเป็นสีขาวซึ่งก่อนเริ่มเกมจะใส่ในเอ็กตร้าเด็ครวมกับการ์ดฟิวชั่น
ดังตัวอย่างถ้าต้องการอัญเชิญซิงโครว สตาร์ดัสดราก้อน (Stardust Dragon) ออกมาจากเอ็กตร้าเด็ค ต้องใช้วัตถุดิบเป็นจูนเนอร์(ในสนามจะขึ้นเป็นสีเขียว)เลเวล 3 + มอนเตอร์ เลเวล 1 + มอนเตอร์ เลเวล 4 = เลเวลของสตาร์ดัสดราก้อน คือ 8 โดยเมื่อคลิกที่เอ๊กตร้าเด็ค จะมีให้กดอัญเชิญพิเศษ(ต้องมีสตาร์ดัสดราก้อน (Stardust Dragon)ในเอ็กตร้าเด็คด้วยครับ)
หรือ อาจจะใช้มอน์เตอร์จูนเนอร์เลเวล 4 + มอนเตอร์เลเวล 4 เพื่ออัญเชิญสตาร์ดัสดราก้อนเลยก็ได้
แต่ก็จะมีการ์ดมอนเตอร์ซิงโครวบางใบที่ต้องใช้เงื่อนไขพิเศษในการอัญเชิญออกมา เช่น xx-saber hyunlei
ซึ่งต้องใช้มอนเตอร์ที่มีชื่อ “x-saber” เป็นวัตถุดิบในการอัญเชิญซิงโครว
ตัวละครที่โผล่ออกมาให้เก็บกันตอนนี้มี ฟุโด้ ยูเซย์ (Yusei Fudo), โครว โฮแกน (Crow Hogan), อิซาโยอิ อากิ (Akiza Izinski), รุอา (Leo) , รุกะ (Luna)
ชื่อไทยกับอังกฤษจะต่างกันหน่อย
